Seasonal Historical Interpreter

As part of the interpretive team you will be responsible for the delivery of public programming to give visitors the greatest possible enjoyment of their experience at the Remington Carriage Museum. 

Qualifications

Minimum of one year related post-secondary study, supplemented by public speaking experience and sound public relations abilities. Equivalencies may be considered.

Responsibilities:


-Present informative, engaging interpretive programs to the visiting public. 

-Assist with the delivery of education programs to school groups.

-Design and deliver entertaining days camps for children. 

-Assist with the planning, preparation and implementation of special events.
-Assist with research, curatorial duties, and artifact care.
-Assist with marketing and social media efforts.
-Assist with the horse program as needed.
-Assist in the Restoration Shop as needed.
 

The position will average 36.25 hours per week, and will include regular holiday and weekend shifts, including Sundays.


Dates of employment: May 5, 2025, through August 31, 2025.

 

Rate of Pay: $22.00/hour.
