THE REMINGTON CARRIAGE MUSEUM IS CURRENTLY HIRING.

The Friends of the Remington Carriage Museum are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Historical Interpreter. 

Qualifications:

Current enrollment in or completion of a related post-secondary program supplemented by public speaking experience and sound public relation abilities (equivalencies may be considered).

 

Responsibilities:

Present informative, engaging interpretive programs to the visiting public

Design and deliver entertaining education programs

Assist with planning, preparation and implemenation of special events

Assist with research, curatorial duties and artifact care

Assist with marketing and social media efforts

Assist in Restoration Shop and Stables as needed

 

This part-time position will average 29 hours per week and include regular holiday and weekend shifts, including Sundays.

Dates of employment - October 3, 2023, to March 31, 2024

Rate of pay - $20 per hour
